Looking to buy a 96′ Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT, What should I be aware of in these cars? ?
What should I look out for in this car? Its has over 150k whats a good offer for a car priced such as this? I do most of my own work on my cars. Anything in particular that I should look for?
Get all the information about the car (millage, options, does it have a sunroof?) things like that. Go to these websites to get a proper price idea.

Subaru is a great car I am sure that if you buy it you will be impressed of its reliability and loyalty.
The biggest thing in my experience is that the 2.5L had bad head gaskets put in them. Typically they didn’t last over 150k anyway so you should be fine, it probably has been replaced already. The after market ones are great and last forever.
As long as you take care of a Subaru, it will take care of you!
