Recommended first performance applications for my 2000 impreza?
I have a 2000 Subaru impreza and im new to the tuning world. Its an all stock 2.2l, and i was wondering what would be some good performance applications.
I would start with suspension and brakes first. Good set of springs and shocks and some bigger sway bars. As far as power mods, you are going to pay a lot for very little gains. A catback exhaust will make it sound great but anything more than that is a waste of money in my opinion. I mean you can spend a good $2000 on the basic bolt on parts for your car and might gain another 15 to 20 hp. You may feel that or you may not but it will be forgotten in a couple weeks so that’s why i say not worth the money. Just make the car handle good and if you want more power, save for a swap in the future or upgrade to a WRX some day.
