Subaru Forester….is it a good first car for a new driver?
I’ve nailed down a good deal on a slightly used, 2008 subaru forester near me and I’m looking to buy it as a first car using the family’s retired outback as a trade-in. Is it a good bet? It does have AWD and side airbags, so that can’t hurt.
Great choice. All wheel drive, good mpg, safe, and not too fast. Should be cheap on insurance and license, too. Car and Driver magazine likes it and they only like sports cars.
