How do you reset check engine light on 2004 Subaru Outback?
CEL on. Had it scanned. Problem “Engine coolant temp sensor”. Removed and replaced same. The CEL is still on. How do you reset the light?

The easiest way to reset a CEL on any car is to disconect the battery. Just pull the connectors, grab yourself a beer, then reconnect when you get back. Start the engine and allow the ECM to recalibrate. If the CEL comes back on, it may be another issue.
