Check engine light blinking; 1996 Subaru impreza?
I have a 1996 subaru impreza with 105k miles. I bought it last year at 96k.
A few days ago i was teaching someone how to drive. She hit a curb about 7-9 inchines high. The next day my car wouldn’t start. Although at night it was working perfectly. Today, my car isn’t starting again but the engine light is blinking.
I checked the spark plugs and its in tightly. Battery and starter is brand new (not even 2 weeks) Changed my oil around the same time.
I dont know too much about cars so if you have an idea of what the problem is, break it done into something i might understand please 
It be great if you could scan it yourself I’d be checking the owners manual , or calling up the dealership bec most of the vehicles made around that time you could read the codes stored manually.Having a service manual and scanner would help you a lot right now and in the future bec not only are there troubling shooting charts, schematics, diagrams, but also all the important scan info etc too.
Personally I’d be thinking that perhaps a wiring harness might of been pinched or stretched or damaged by hitting the curb or a computer has internal faults due to it or a sensor got damaged etc.Even a fuse or relay could of been affected it might of loosened it or damaged it internally.
One thing if that high of a curb was hit you should check out that rim and tire , plus have a free front end check done on it bec that type of thing can cause warped rims and front end damages such as bent tie rods etc.You’d be lucky if no damages have occurred to the front end or tire or rim but have them checked for sure.
