A question about subaru impreza??
does anyone know if usa spec impreza’s have the same brake pad sizes as the uk or japanese specs????? the car concerned is a classic shape impreza 2.0 turbo 4 wheel drive. if anyone can help me i would be grateful.
i have been looking in usa for brake pads but can only find 1.6, 1.8, 2.2, 2.5 engines and i dont know if they have the same brake pads as 2l engines
By classic do you mean 01 and older? We did not get a 2.0 in those years. Why are you looking in the US? I wouldn’t count on them being the same. Subaru’s brakes between models are all over the place. Even for the 2002 WRX they used 2 different brake pads depending on the build date. I would Email some shops in the UK maybe to get part numbers and then contact shops in the US to compare the numbers. Only way to be sure what will fit and what will not. But again we did not even get the model you are talking about so it may be tricky.
