How good are Subarus in deep snow compared to Jeeps and other 4×4s?
Most 4×4’s can do pretty good in snow and it depends on ground clearance as well as power. The main thing to remember, no 4×4 no matter how good it is will be no good unless the person driving it knows how to drive and control it in the snow. If you don’t know how to drive in the snow you could be worse off in a 4×4 and get into more trouble and more dangerous situations. I have seen many get over confident in a 4×4 who think they are invincible and get hurt.
Also remember this always. 4Wheel drive helps you go..but when it comes to stopping it is just like any other vehicle on the road. A 4×4 will not stop any faster or better.
