wired a new cd player into subaru impreza but things have stopped working?
after wiring a new cd player into my subaru impreza my central locking has stopped working my alarm and imobilizer stopped working just beeps once when i put ignition on and lets me start it up without pressing fob and also interia lights stopped working, locking dosnt even work using key in lock, ive checked all fuses and all fine can you shed any light.
I would suspect that you tapped into a wire that you should not have tapped into. You could have saved yourself a great deal of headache and trouble had you purchased your equipment from Crutchfield. You would have gotten free instructions, and a free wiring harness that would eliminate the need for having to wire anything. You snap the harness into the one that is already there (from the factory radio) and plug it into your new head unit and you’re done.
Check your wiring. I suspect that you’ve wired into the alarm or locking circuit.
