How many miles is a Subaru STi good for?
I am currently in the market for an STI. I found one with 58k miles for a good price. Is this a lot of miles for an STI? At what point do they start to wear out?
Sounds like reasonable mileage but try to get it checked out by a good mechanic first. Most of the STI’ s get driven quite hard and need premium lubricants and stringent maintenance to survive happily. Past driving style and maintenance dictates how long this car will last. Also check the tires, the hot rod Subaru’s are very sensitive to having exactly the same diameter so one shot tire usually means a whole new set. Fun car, I almost bought one last year.
