Subaru Baja Brake Pad / System Question?
Just took the car to the dealership for some service and they did a full inspection. The findings for the brakes were 3MM remaining, the service manager said that they usually replace them at 2MM.
I am assuming that he is talking about the brake pads and that those are Milli meters measurements. Am I right about that and any pointers or suggestions on best brake pads for a Subaru Baja…
When would one need to get the rotors machined?
you are right, hes talking about how thick the brake pads are. subaru pads are fine. autozone also carries them and may even be a few bucks cheaper. the dealer should have told you the condition of the rotors. getting them machined all depends on the way you drive, if you can see deep groves in them then get it done.
