Subaru Outbacks 2005-2009?
Hey i’m looking at getting a newer car, and I want to know if there are any major problems with the outback? How is it on gas mileage, room, stereo system, winter weather handling, hauling, towing. I’m and outdoors person, so i love to canoe and ski.
I don’t have an outback, but I own two legacy wagons. They are great cars. Easy to work on if you do that kind of thing ourself. I don’t know of any problems with them. If you have the 4 cyl. they make about 26 MPG hiway. Not as roomy as a sadan or SUV, but they are comfortable. I live in Kansas I’ve driven mine in 8 to 12 inches of snow (not off road) never been close to stuck. I’ve never towed anything with mine but I don’t see it doing a good job of it unless you have a 6 cyl.
I had a guy in a Lincon contental pull out in frount of me once. I T-boned him in the drivers door. Totaled the lincon, and mesed up my bumper and fender. I drove my car away and never repaied the damage. That was three years ago.
Only cars I’ll own.
