When are you supposed to use the Intercooler Water Spray on a Subaru STI?
I have a 2007 STi and i wanna make good use of the intercoolor water spray. When am i supposed to use it so it helps my car during and in the longrun? Everything i need to know about this feature.
You would use it before hard driving, like a launch or autoxing or something, and you would use it on really hot days, when the air being sucked into you’re intercooler is warmer. But you don’t have to spray it regularly, it wont hurt your car if you don’t. Also, some people put a few ice cubes in their intercooler tanks when planning on going somewhere to drive hard for the day.
