What turbo will fit my 08 Subaru Impreza 2.5i? [Stock appilication turbo] 10pts!?
Car: 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i (NOT WRX/STI)
Mods: none, so far
AVO DOES NOT make the turbo kit for the 2.5i anymore (specifically designed for this car). (They don’t have it on there 2010 catalog). I’m saving up to buy it in 2-3 years. Will they make it again? Should i buy it used? If so, where?
If not, what other turbo’s will fit my car without damaging it? Thanks!
I’m okay if i get low boost like 4 or 5psi. I just want a turbo. Thanks again! Happy Xmas!
You can make just about any turbo fit with custom piping. As far as running it without damaging your car, that’s not going to happen unless you build the motor or run very low boost. Just keep saving for a swap. Even with a built motor, the soft aluminium heads will not allow you to run any high crazy boost.
