I have a 92 subaru svx lsl AWD H6 boxer engine 3.3L?
My car has a miss. When it is cold it runs fine. When it warms up it has a miss when it is at an idle. Accelerating and cruising its fine. I can hear a click coming from the front passenger side coil or fuel injector. I changed that plug for that coil and it still misses.I took it to a shop and they said they tested my coils and the were at .3 when they should be more at .6 I dont really trust this shop though.
Any Subaru guru’s out there?
When the car misses it makes that strange click. That is about the best clue I can give. It runs perfect when its cold or accellerating or cruising. It is driving me nuts………click,…………click……
It could be a number of sensors or just one certain small thing. It’s best to go to a shop that specializes in Subarus and see what they say. It’s easier to find out what exactly what it is right away by professionals other than take it to someone who will keep changing parts till they find out. If you think its the coils you can buy a coil tester through auto zone or some parts shop for around 8 bucks and follow the instructions for a strong blue spark. Hope this helps
