Which Engine Oil is good for my 1998 Subaru Impreza GF1?
After I imported the Impreza GF1 from Japan, it was very fast and was performing optimally. I gave the car to a friend and on return, the cars capability to pick up speed was so compromised, and it was struggling to pick up speed from one gear to the next.
I changed the engine oil, fuel filter, oil filter, plugs, battery, air filter with new subaru spares but the situation did not change so much. Please help me understand which engine oil is good for my car. Currently, i’m using Caltex – Formula (i havent crammed the grade).
How can I boost the cars ability to pick up speed??

Check your exhaust system—my Impreza slowed to a crawl when I got a leak I didn’t know about in the exhaust. Got it fixed—-speed was back—oohhh, and —-dump the friend.
