Need help with my subaru forester SF5?
I have a subaru forester SF5 . It was driving fine till suddenly my stearing became very heavy. I was very hard to even turn the stearing. I saw the battery light and handbreak light in the display panel of the car came on. I topped up the brake oil and checked the battery, but it was fine…Now the brake and battry lights are always on!. please help me if anyone knows how to solve this problem??????
It sounds like you have a belt that is slipping or is broken. The belt that drives the power steering pump may be loose causing your steering to be difficult.
If the same belt is connected to the alternator, then that is likely why the battery light is on also.
