Could there be an underlying problem
What if your knock sensor is going off because it senses a knock? Your sensor might be working fine, it’s your engine that might be broken. Disconnect the power/ground from the knock sensor and test the sensor for continuity per the manufacture’s specs. You might need to take it to a shop to hook it up to a scope and see what’s happening in there.
