Car won’t start since this morning, help?
I drive a 2002 Subaru Outback, and this morning, when I tried to turn on my car, it didn’t turn on. It clicked, the lights went on, and I could hear the engine attempt to turn on, but it never did. The dash lights went on at first, but then they stopped, and now it just turns, makes a little noise, but doesn’t start at all (the radio won’t turn on, and the time won’t work.)
It’s really cold here, so is it possible the cold did something to the car, or is it my battery, or something else?
Maybe time for a new battery? But to be sure make sure it is fully charged and have it checked and see what they say. Also may not be a bad idea to have the charging system checked. Cold weather can kill a battery in no time. And 2002 it is probably close to that time if it is the original battery.
