Shud I get a Cobb Accessport for my 2007 Subaru STi?
I currently have a Turbo XS Downpipe, Midpipe, and B&B Exhaust on it with a SPT intake. Would it be bad if i ran Stage 2 on it with the Cobb? Also Can I put different Maps on it rather than the ones from the Cobb website? When dealer saw my car they demanded that i get it and car will run great with no problems after i get it. How many hp and tq would i be putting out Estimated?
A Cobb AP Stg2 would work on your STI, it would greatly increase your power. You can put different maps on it only if
a) you create a map from open source tuning yourself
or
b) you have a good tuner tune your car and have the accessport store that specific map.
What dealer did you take it to? I’m assuming it’s not a Subaru dealer kuz the ones around here (California) say no type of engine management/messsing with teh ECU. The hp and tq u get can be seen here (approximately!) http://cobbtuning.com/images/?id=3158
