’94 Camaro POS!?
okay so I pretty much don’t know anything about cars… and I really don’t like the whole low to ground camaro/corvette/lambo type… I actually like more so rally cars like Subaru WRX/Lancer/etc… anyway… I drive a 94 p.o.s. camaro and ha pretty much been waiting for someone just to run into it and trash it. Well I’m sayin to hell with it… I wanna work on it and maybe learn some things about cars… (I really know like nothing…. I can change a tire.. .that’s pretty much it….) I actually would love to know enough about cars so that I could soup one up all fast and furious style… though I doubt that’ll happen…. anyway… it squeals… so I wanna tighten the fan belt… how do I do that? or how do I replace it if I have to do that?… It would be pretty cool to like meet someone on here and talk via email… if anyone’s interested in helping a “car newbie” learn the ins and outs…. Well to replace the belts you have to locate which one of your pullys are the tensor.
This tensor swivles back and forth to allow the belt to be loosened.
Just turn it with your wrench and move the belt. once it is off one pully it can come off them all.
Oh and most of your squeeling comes from your belts, so the better the belt the less noise.
