Does anyone know how to disable the video off function of the DVD for a 2008 Subaru Impreza?
When the vehicle moves, the DVD video turns off for safety reasons. I would like to disable this function so we can watch a movie when we are travelling.
It is for my family to watch while we are on long trips. Please keep your opinions to yourself on driving. I am looking at you Mad Jack.
Important safety feature that NEVER should be disabled!
If you get in an accident, and the DVD is on, you WILL be at fault, no matter what the circumstances. As this could be a reckless driving ticket, your insurance may not pay. You would be sued, and lose.
Is watching an idiot box while driving really worth all that.
Save the boob tube for when you are at home.
