there’s a pack rat in my engine. how much will this cost me?
we’ve got a pack rat in our engine (1998 Subaru Legacy Outback ltd). it has been chewing on a few hoses and some wires. we have noticed no electrical problems as of yet. hoping that it is just a few hoses and wires being replaced how much can we expect this to cost?
If you have compressive insurance coverage it will pay for repairs at the dealership of your car preferably. If a wiring harness is needed you’ll get an ORM part.
Lets prevent this from ever happening again. Buy a big box of *moth balls and sprinkle them under the hood of your car where hopefully they won’t roll off as you drive. Walk around the perimeter of the interior of the garage and sprinkle more moth balls.
