does the size of the flywheel effect the top speed?
I did a clutch job on my sister’s subaru impreza, I installed a performance clutch and flywheel, now the car’s top speed has dropped
It depends on the size of the engine and the weight distribution of the fly wheel. If more of the weight is towards the center than the OEM then it will increase speed. If the weight is distributed more towards the outer edge than the OEM then the speed is decreased. It will have little effect on big engines but will be more obvious in smaller engines.
