if subaru have a hystory of `head gasket failure` for many years ,why haven`t they fixed the problem ?
refer to subaru outback,2003 3.o ltr,6 cyl, was warned by a suby mechanic in newcastle australia,a bloke who specialised in subaru,racing,/,general drivers & from even the early models leonie,sportswagon,brumby ute, the head gasket was the first thing checked, most times i took a suby there to check out pre-sale, just a listen as the car was driven into the workshop,the diagnosis had been already done by my gun mechanic, has the `head gasket problem been fixed?
i`ve had no prob`s yet,fantastic car to drive,
The problem was fixed starting with the 05 models. The 6 cylinder models DO NOT have that problem.
