Can you tune the COBB Accessport for a 08 impreza 2.5i for mileage too?
My dad got me the Subaru for highschool. He drives it in the winter for it’s AWD compared to his FWD Acura. I want to do mods to it but my dad says that it is just a waste of money and the mileage decreases. He said that if I do these engine mods(HKS turbo, Perrin intercooler,Perrin catback exhaust, Perrin exhaust pipes, KN cold air intake, Perrin BOV etc.) he should get the same mileage City:20 Highway:27 he says that if it decreases by 1 or 2 it’s all right. Can i tune for mileage? If not what other way can I get mileage with these mods? Thanks!
Gas consumption in a WRX is more dependent on how you drive, than what modifications you have. Considering that you’re modifying you car for power, you probably get 20mpg or less 
Your Dad however, is primarily concerned with gas mileage, so my guess would be that he does not even go into boost that much, hence those mods will have almost no effect on gas mileage while he is driving.
On a side note – make sure you get a proper tune! You are risking seriously damaging your engine with a new turbo and intake if it is not tuned correctly.
On another side note – getting this car was a waste of money if he is more concerned about gas mileage than performance.
