Subaru Impreza?
im looking into buying a subaru impreza from my friend. he wants 4500 for it its a 1998 impreza 2.5 RS. I’ve herd there quite hard to find because nobody sells them. he put a full iceman cold ait intake on it and it has a full exaust ( i forget the name of the exaust but it sounds nice). it has power everything including a sunroof. Its rally blue and its got black interior. the car is mint and it runs mint to but it has 140000 miles on it. My question is that if i buy it and keep up with good maintenence how many miles can it get out of the engine? Is it a god deal with 140000 miles on it? It runs like new and there are no problems with it at all. Is 140000 miles ok for a subaru?

Theses are very reliable cars. Have you seen the new commercial about the Forester that’s put out to pasture at 300,000 miles but it still runs great? Stupid commercial I know, but the Forester is basically an Impreza with an SUV body. In fact, it has the same engine and tranny as the Impreza RS and Subaru Legacy. You will be very happy with it and yes, it’s rare. Even the color is rare as well. Not many of these were made because the rest of the world received this car as the turbocharged WRX. Not to worry however because while the RS doesn’t have the turbo engine, it is a highly sought after crowd among Subie collectors. Buy it immediately!! This car is not only a collectable, but it is crazy reliable. Also, the engine is still being used today in current Subarus. That’s how good it is- all 165 hp of it!!
