How to use iphone/ipod on 2004 subaru impreza wrx?
Is there a way to hook up your iphone or ipod using the factory cd player in a 2004 WRX without using a fm transmitter or through the tape deck?
usually not… and im sure you don’t want to hear this but you’ll have to buy a new head unit if you want to do that… now before you get mad a pick up you keyboard and smash in into your monitor hear me out… a new head unit is probably the best upgrade you can do to your car to enjoy your driving… $200 is the price range you should shoot for if you don’t plan on doing any other upgrades to your sound system you can get one that is i pod compatible and not only will it allow you to play your i pod with great sound quality and play MP3 CD’s it will also increase your volume range and you sound quality amazingly… they are very easy to install if you buy the suitable wiring harness and mounting kit
