Is there anyone in kansas that can tune my 2004 subaru WRX ECU?
At home or professional. I have no other upgrades. just want a good mild (hopefully not too expensive) tune or computer upgrade
First see if there are any tuners near you as a vendor on NASIOC.com. If not, you still have a couple options. You can get a Cobb Access port and have a tuner tune through Email Basically, you have to record logs and he can make some adjustments. This will be a little costly because the Access Port costs $625 or so. Or you can buy a Tactrix cable (about $120) and then go to OpenECU.com and download ECUFlash program which is free and reflash and have people help you refine the map. There is a big forum of self tuners on OpenEcu’s site that will help with this but the risk is, do it wrong and you can blow the motor.
