Would you buy a Subaru Impreza to replace a 1992 Ford Laser?
and if so how much would you pay for a 1999 model? or would you look at the Liberty instead and how much would you pay for that in a 1999 model.
Both base models please, as I am beginning to think about selling my laser which currently has almost 253000 K’s on the clock.

whatever I buy will be my 1st car change as I have had the laser for 2 years now since I got my L’s, now having my P’s for 12 months I think its time to upgrade.
I have had dealings with Subaru and find them to be a good car but am just wondering what model, year, price or that of any equivelant in other makes.
I cant help you with pricing very much I’m sorry but I can recommend Subaru. I have dealt a lot with these over the years (I worked in the repair industry for a long time) and would go for the Liberty, very nice car to drive and less expensive to run than the Imprezza however, you do need to be aware of insurance costs for Subaru’s in general. It doesn’t seem to matter what model you have but because it’s a Subaru it’s expensive to insure. Hope this helps. By the way I paid $16K for my 1997 Liberty 2005 and would update to another in a heart beat – great car.
