It does seem you do miss out on a lot of great cars although many Japanese models are sold here in the UK as Grey imports the Skyline was only sold in very very few numbers here and only as the GTR model.
Its the same with other models we make our numbers up with imports which you can also do in the US on many of the cars but its the overall cost on an older car which is unfair to you guys.
Also some versions you do get seem to have a smaller engine and alot less power then other countries with the same model of car.
But as said strict rules where made to make it hard for imports to take the US market,safety wise is a not always true as such as my car has really modern safety features and electronic systems in place as well as airbags and a cat added for emissions.
