Subaru Forester-sometimes the remote refuses to turn off immobiliser, not batteries . Anyone else had problem
The ignition has to be turned on then the button pressed on the remote but occaisionally there is no response. After a while (10 min) it will start but it’s annoying if it happens at the petrol pumps. Garage cannot think what problem is without putting car in for testing and it never happens ‘on cue’! Has anyone else had this problem and found out why it happens?
you might want to have the computer in the car tested. It seems to not be responding to the remote. Also known as the bcm (body control module)
