Subaru STI large rear spoiler question?
you know the special edition sti’s like a-line and spec-c ra-r etc etc? they usually dont have the large rear wing, they either have a small one or none at all. i was just wondering, if you bought one of these cars, (you’d have to buy them used now) could you also get a large rear wing somehow? do the wings come separately or are they attached to the trunk? either way to buy one that means they’d have to take it off some other regular STi because its not like Subaru has a bunch of them at their facilities right…?

Actually, you can buy them new off of online Subaru parts vendors. Your local dealer may even be able to get one for you. It will attach to your trunk but it requires 11 holes so be prepared to drill. You will also need a trunk torsion bar that holds the trunk open. With the added weight of the big wing, the original torsion bar will not pop the trunk open.
