What Is the Best Aftermarket Turbo for a Subaru Forrester?
I have a 2008 Subaru Forrester and i am looking to give it some more guts. i have looked into many turbos but i cant decide.
How much more power are you looking for? Have you done the turbo back exhaust and a tune yet? That will give you a good 50 to 60 more horesepower over stock for a lot less than a turbo swap. If you have and are looking for more, it still depends on how much power you want. Is it a manual? If so, i would not go much bigger than a 16G. A VF22 is a nice too with very little lag. The 20G is a really good match to the 2.5′s too but the bug torque will on the high side of what the gears can handle so you would have to drive a little on the conservative side and nobody who wants to drive conservatively looks to swapping turbo’s You need to set a realistic power goal and go from there.
