The JDM Legacy GT uses a VF38 or TD04HLA-19T twin scroll turbo. Are the VF36 & 37 direct bolt-on replacements?
I want to upgrade the turbo with a bolt on alternative if one exists. I know the VF36 and VF37 are twin scroll made for the Subaru WRX STI.
Just want to know what modification if any would be needed to make to work in my Legacy GT.
If the VF series turbos have no replacement, is there another twin scroll turbo made by MHI that could replace that turbo?
Yes, all vf series turbos are interchangable.
