what does STI mean in subaru wrx STI?
hello guys. i was thinking about buying a car.the car is a 2005 subaru impreza wrx awd.ther is also a subaru impreza wrx STI. can someone tell me what STI means?also am i allowed to dirve the STI model on my Provisional 1 license.thats is my red P’s of course.thank you in advance.
Subaru Tecnica International is what STI stands for. The STI is Subaru’s line for high performance equipment in the car. The WRX and WRX sti are much different due to the STI having more performance parts that the dealer could go over with. Different suspension, tires, brakes, and a whole lot more. All Subarus will also be awd. Good luck. You should be able to drive the car because it is within the same class. You will probably have to know how drive a stick shift though (manual).
