all newer cars are electronicly goverened by the speed rating on the tires. The 08 tribeca has H rated tires H rating is 130mph. The 0-60 is in the 7s.
you can find the tires that come on a car by the manufactures site (www.subaru.com) I found the chart for tire speed ratings at howstuffworks.com type tires in to the search bar. as far as aceleration I know this becaus the 07 is 8.5 seconds on the 0-60 read that in car and driver and the 08 is just a little faster.
