Subaru cars are unique and offer some really time-tested battle-hardened models to choose from. Everyone claims that these suckers last forever, and usually have a story of their old “wagons” whose odometer rolled over a few times and still is used to this day. Internally, it’s as sound as all of the other models; just as their catch phrase goes “It’s what makes a Subaru, a Subaru.” Still sporting the Boxer engine and all wheel drive, the Legacy is built for styling and large cargo holding capacity. Kind of like the grocery getter with muscle and finesse, the 08′ model has a trunk-area-concealed under-floor storage tray with grocery bag hooks to nicely match that description.
All in all you can expect as always a good performance out of the cars. For the most part, and while maintained adequately, the Subaru you choose will treat you well. If ever needed, Subaru Legacy car parts are plentiful. This is one of the most produced cars in the U.S. and has such accolades in it home country as being “Car of the Year” in Japan 2003.
